"Where do we even begin? Slippy Underfoot didn't just provide music for our wedding – they helped create one of the most memorable, joyful and magical evenings of our lives. From the moment they started playing, the energy in the room completely transformed. Their musicianship is genuinely exceptional. They are not only incredibly talented musicians, but performers who understand how to create an atmosphere that brings people together. They turned an evening of listening to music into an experience full of fun, laughter, dancing and unforgettable moments. I don't say this lightly. I've spent thousands of hours listening to live music, attended countless concerts and arena shows over the years, and even worked as a roadie. I've seen bands and musicians at every level, and Slippy Underfoot were absolutely spot on. They are honestly some of the best musicians I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Booking them for our wedding was one of the very best decisions we made. Throughout the whole process they were kind, considerate and incredibly easy to work with. They happily discussed first dance ideas with us, were open to anything we suggested, and genuinely cared about helping us create the perfect evening. What stood out most was how much they seemed to enjoy being part of the celebration. You could tell they were feeding off the love, excitement and energy from our friends and family, and giving it straight back. That connection made the whole night feel special, authentic and, at times, wonderfully whimsical. The dance floor was packed, the atmosphere was electric, and so many of our guests have commented on how brilliant the band were. "We are so glad that we chose Stone Meadow to perform at our wedding - they absolutely SMASHED IT! From the very start of the enquiry/booking process, Joe from the band was super responsive and patient in answering all of our questions. We were able to put forward our own playlists for the DJ sets and request songs for the band to perform live which they were more than happy to accommodate! We also explained that we were a little shy about our first dance and wanted our guests to come join us on the dance floor so they did a perfect mash up of our first dance song with a crowd pleasing tune that got everyone dancing with us. Their repertoire of songs is amazing and they also did incredible covers of Still Into You, This is How You Remind Me, and Mr Brightside which our guests absolutely loved! Things got heavier and our guests got a mosh pit going and were jumping along to Stone Meadow’s cover of Break Stuff and Killing in the Name of! So many of our guests have said how unforgettable the evening was and they really did light up the dance floor. Not only are they incredible musicians but they’re also super professional with great communication, and honestly 4 of the nicest guys who were a pleasure to work with in the run up to the day and to have there on the day of. They left us a great message in our guest book and even gave us a t-shirt as a wedding gift 🤩 Legends the lot of them!!!
