I saw Clara Risu perform live and was blown away so I decided to book them for a special event I organised. I had never booked a band before, so I was unsure on how it all works, fees and what’s involved. Clara Risu organised everything to do with music with me and even helped me organise a bit of the event which are non-music related. They’re clearly experienced and pointed out things that I would have overlooked. The night was amazing but what really stood out to all my guests was Clara Risu’s performance. They sound incredible live and they really put on a show. They even allowed us to sing along and all of us had a great time especially when they played classics from the 90s and 2000s. I highly recommend them. I know two of my friends will be booking them soon. Thank you Clara Risu!

Every year we host our Beer and Food Festival at The Ship in Brimscombe. We were on the hunt for a Jazz band but with many weeks of searching we were at a loss. I came across Clara Risu online. After a quick listen, I knew that Mary was the missing puzzle piece I was looking for. Mary was very professional, polite and our saving grace. Clara Risu put on a performance that filled the crowd with awe. For months after many people were begging us to book her for the following year. The vibe was exactly what we were looking for on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I cannot express into words the incredible talent she has as well as the guys who supported her by playing.

Yes, Clara Risu will always perform with the same lead singer as Clara Risu is the stage and artist name of Mary, the singer.

Do you have different line-up options?

We offer the following line ups and can add our own saxophonist or any other instruments to any of these combinations for an additional charge. DUO: Piano and Vocals Guitar and Vocals THREE PIECE: Piano, Guitar and Vocals FOUR PIECE: Piano, Bass, Drums and Vocals Guitar, Bass, Drums and Vocals FIVE PIECE: Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums and Vocals

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always endeavor to accommodate any changes and support all our clients. Please let us know of any changes and requirements as soon as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can provide music played through our speakers using the Spotify app. We also offer the option of clients choosing the songs in the playlist. This service is free of charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need about 1-1.5 hours to set up our equipment and complete sound checks with our dedicated sound engineer. We will also play songs via Spotify just before we complete our set up to set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for the live performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We'd be thrilled for you to choose songs from our setlists. Our repertoire spans decades, from classic hits of the 1960s to iconic tracks from the 2000s, as well as modern hits. We've also crafted our own unique versions and we'll ensure they're woven seamlessly into our performance, reflecting our signature style of mixing the old sounds with the new.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, all of the equipment is included with the pricing.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we are open to learning a few songs for the event. We are open to learning one song free of charge for a wedding's 'First Dance' for example, however, any other extra songs may be chargeable to cover costs of rehearsals.
