Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level, working internationally in creative music scenes
Do you have different line-up options?
yes, everything from solo up to sextet
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
This comes as standard - we provide historically informed and appropriate music that fits with what we play live. Later DJ sets will cost extra based on time.
How much time do you need to set up?
usually 1 hour for a basic set up/soundcheck. Arrival required more than 2 hours before event start time are charged an extra fee.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
pick anything from our set! otherwise we craft something perfect for the event. if there are any requests and we don't know them, we can talk about learning them for your event for an extra cost. However, please understand that we are specialist jazz musicians working with repertoire from 1920s-1950s (the Golden Age of jazz, standards, American Songbook).
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
We bring our own PA or hire one relevant to the venue size, this is usually included in the quote. Lighting is not included.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. if there are any requests and we don't know them, we can talk about learning them for your event for an extra cost. However, please understand that we are specialist jazz musicians working with repertoire from 1920s-1950s.
