However, we recommend sending your DJ a list of songs you'd want them to include in their set list before the event, as some DJs may be unable to find lesser-known tracks on the night.
Yes, many professional DJs in the UK choose to have insurance coverage. While it is not a legal requirement, venues and event organisers often require DJs to have PLI (Public Liability Insurance). This insurance protects DJs from potential legal and financial liabilities if a third party (such as a guest or venue staff) is injured or their property is damaged during the performance. Having insurance provides peace of mind and demonstrates professionalism, especially when performing at events and venues that prioritise safety and security for all parties involved.
