Nottingham

Emma, Kate and Adele have been performing as Tripliquette since 2009 but have been friends for many years more. They each have a background in musical theatre performing in various roles at theatres in Nottingham, Derby and the surrounding areas. Emma is Tripliquette’s ‘sweet soprano’ – a role that involves singing very high sometimes. “I get to sing the tune most of the time, leaving the others to do the hard bits!” Emma has been performing in musicals since a very young age and roles have included Eva Peron in Evita, Lily in The Secret Garden, Sally in Follies, Iola Stover in Parade, Claudia in Nine, Belle in Disney’s Beauty & The Beast , “Ballet Laurie” in Oklahoma! Pam Lukowski in The Full Monty and Grace Farrell in Annie. Adele is Tripliquette’s ‘middley diddley’ or second soprano or even top alto! “I get to sing a lot of harmonies, often difficult ones – perfect as it’s what I love doing most!” Adele has been performing in musicals in Nottingham since the age of 13 covering all things theatre from plays to opera. Favourite roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Gladys in Pajama Game, April in Company and the flying Enchantress in Disney’s Beauty & The Beast. Kate is Tripliquette’s ‘down there diva’ or alto or even bass in some songs! “I sing very low sometimes but also quite high and often in the space of just a few seconds!” Kate’s favourite roles include Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Peggy in 42nd Street, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Phyllis in Follies, Ulla in The Producers, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Dolly in Hello Dolly and Miss Hannigan in Annie. She also sings with The Limelight Orchestra

“I am sure you could tell from the audience reaction just how much they enjoyed the performance. The choice of numbers was just right, and you sang them in beautiful harmony – it was only a pity that we didn’t have time for more than one set.”

“…you got great reviews from our guests, which ranged from the musical “I know good close harmony when I hear it”, through “lovely songs well performed” to the simple but heartfelt “I just so enjoyed it”…We’re so pleased that we found you”
