About Tiptoe

Jazz band
Leeds
Public liability insurance of £10 million
Intimate, soulful earth music delivered in an artfully unassuming style. Tiptoe’s music is soulful pop and jazz, foreground or background.

Intimate, soulful earth music delivered in an artfully unassuming style. With captivating voices interwoven over a grounded electro-acoustic core, TipToe’s music is an expression of the frequency shared between band, audience, music and life – and it resonates. They call it chamber-funk, but we’re sure they won’t mind if you called it something else. Formed in the summer of 2015, Tiptoe are four friends from Leeds who love to play together. If you want a band who are equally at home at a party or a jazz festival, Tiptoe are for you.

Just a note to say how unbelievable you guys were yesterday! Your aisle music was so personal and special, and everything you played sounded perfect! We had so many comments about how good you were.

Thank you so much for playing - you guys were really great. So many people have said how much they enjoyed listening and dancing to you, and we really appreciated how organised and personable you were and how simple it was to arrange. Thank you so much for doing a version of our favourite songs for the first dance - it was a beautiful version, so intimate and relaxed - this made it very special!
