Verified profile

Russian cellist Svetlana Mochalova and Ukrainian pianist Slava Sidorenko first met at the Royal Northern College of Music. A musical relationship blossomed into a personal relationship and the couple are now married. Between them, they’ve won multiple awards and performed at venues including the Purcell Room, the Barbican, Wigmore Hall and Glastonbury. As part of their mission to engage with audiences in a more imaginative way, they’ve developed their own Sveta & Slava app. This allows concert goers to see their Music a la Carte menu and vote for the pieces the duo will perform.

Svetlana and Slava recently played at our wedding and we’re so glad we managed to book them! Communication was great on the build up to the wedding. Svetlana and Slava play a variety of music and it was great to have input into the playlist. They played during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and created the perfect ambience (Bridgerton vibes!). We’ve had so many compliments from our guests, we couldn’t recommend them enough, the perfect cello piano duo for your wedding! Thanks, Emily & Steve.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

How much time do you need to set up?

It usually takes us about 45mins to set up.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, all equipment is included in our quote. We provide a speaker and can also bring an electric keyboard if the venue doesn't have one.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we can learn new songs before the event. We just need to ensure that a suitable arrangement is available.
