Our mission is to provide a bespoke, engaging solution to event entertainment that compliments and enhances every element of your occasion. "Hi, I’m Tom. I created Soundtrack DJ as a way to deliver my love of music and performing after moving away from over a decade of working as a professional guitarist. I grew up on a diet of Soul, Motown and Classic Rock before following my own interests into Pop Punk, Indie and Metal when I picked up the guitar as a teenager. Working as a professional musician I became well versed in Classic Disco, Funk and Modern Pop among many other genres. Since starting my journey as a DJ I’ve developed a big interest in Dance Classics and the wider world of EDM, taking pride in expanding my music library with tracks that can make the most of every event."

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My love for music and dedication to making the most of every event. I take a lot of pride in presenting a setup that compliments and enhances the venue space. I put my carefully curated music collection to work, utilising live mixing to maintain energy and deliver creative transitions to keep the audience engaged.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Many well known, highly regarded venues across South Wales and the South of England. To name some prominent locations: The Principality Stadium, Cardiff City Stadium, The Vale Resort, Hensol Castle, Pencoed House, Llanerch Vineyards, Gileston Manor, Newport Golf Club, Llanwern Golf Club, Cardiff Golf Club, Upcote Barn, St Tewdrics, Emlyn Hotel and many more!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I love the high energy, modern remixes of producers such as Kygo, Revival, Sgt Slick, Simon Martial and Dario Caminita. I have a huge respect for modern DJ's such as 'Eats Everything', the tech skills of people like James Hype and legendary guys like DJ Jazzy Jeff.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

That's a real tough one! I've been lucky enough to be a part of many amazing weddings, parties and corporate events. To me on the day, they're all high profile!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem! Just let me know as soon as possible and we can plan around your new schedule. There may be additional charges incurred if the changes result in longer performance time, but this would always be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I provide music for the entire time period that the booking covers. This includes background music prior to an event 'officially starting'.

How much time do you need to set up?

I request at least 1 hour to load in, set up and check everything is performance ready. However I'm normally ready much quicker than this.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I love asking clients for song recommendations prior to the event. This is a great way for me to get an insight into your music preferences. I also like to discuss the dreaded "Do not play!" list, to avoid any awkward moments!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Absolutely! I come prepared for a variety of situations, with various audio and lighting options to suit the venue and event.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am happy to consider any track that a client may require for an event. Where appropriate I may also edit a track in advance to meet specific needs.
