'Licence to Sing' James Bond tribute by Sarah Hewson

Sarah is a versatile performer and has covered many genres of musical styles over her career, which include the 70s disco era, 80s pop, classical music, soft rock and even stint as a Shania Twain tribute artist. Previous credits include: BBC TV ‘Children in Need’; performances as Frida for ‘Bjorn Again’, the world famous tribute show; performing solo at the Conservative Party Conference 2014 at Birmingham ICC; and performances at the high-profile European club venues : ‘Le Mad’ club in Lausanne, Switzerland and ‘Club Rai’ in Moscow. Sarah spent a large part of her singing career covering the songs of ABBA, performing in ABBA tribute bands and doing her current solo tribute, ‘One of Us’, as the UK’s original solo ABBA tribute artist. Sarah has always been a huge fan of the James Bond films and in early 2018 took up the request to perform the songs from the films for a previous client who was a big fan. Sarah now loves performing her James Bond themed tribute act to any size of audience, whether it’s a large charity ball to hundreds of people, or a small birthday party at a private residence. As a James Bond fan herself she likes to interact with the audience between songs, testing them on their James Bond knowledge and providing bits of trivia about the films as well as the songs.
