Rachel Abbott

Rachel Abbott is a singer who has studied at the RNCM, Nottingham, Sheffield and Huddersfield universities and with ENO. She began singing at an early age, joining a local group age 8 and has never stopped singing since. She is extremley versatile, and covers a huge range of genres including pop, jazz, musicals, rock and roll sacred music and opera. She sings regularly with choirs as a soloist and with orchestras and performs recitals and concerts. She has had a variety of opera roles and loves to learn new music. She has a wide range of backing tracks available and also plays piano. She has music availiable for any event. Rachel is part of the ENO extra chorus and also in a three part harmony group that sing Christmas carols and cover events. She was also a member of the Bayretuh Festival choir and Wexford chorus. Rachel also sings in care homes and at community events, promoting singing as a great therapy for dementia and mental health. Rachel is friendly and professional and always arrives at gigs on time with everything learned and ready to go. Rachel is also a singing and piano teacher and often runs vocal masterclasses. Rachel absolutely loves to sing and perform and always gives her all in every concert and gig. She works to provide exactly what the customer wants to match their event and is energetic and professional in her performances. Rachel is willing to perform at any event and has covered a wide variety of events from parties to weddings to funerals. She gives each performance a personal touch and ensures that she understands what is needed for each performance. She has performed with bands, orchestras, piano, backing track, organ and acapella. She can also.self accompany. Rachel continues her professional development with regular vocal lessons and coaching to ensure that she keeps her voice healthy and in top condition. She makes sure that each song is learned to a high standard and is always willing to take requests. When Rachel isn't singing she loves to go to theme parks and can be heard screaming very tunefully on roller coasters. She loves to walk in the countryside and watch films and spend time with her family.
