Piper Jazz Collective is a group of the top jazz musicians from the South West of England. They have been playing at private events and weddings for upwards of 10 years and can provide music ranging from solo piano and duo, to quintet and larger ensembles. All members of the collective are experienced musicians in their own right, engaged in creative endeavours that have taken them to Glastonbury Festival, Bristol Beacon, The Ivy, and many jazz festivals around the country. In addition, Alex the piano player has a current residency at Ronnie Scott’s! The musicians come together in this collective to provide high quality jazz for events across the UK and beyond. They pride themselves on their professionality, communication, and most importantly, high quality jazz! I hired Bea and the Piper Jazz Collective for my New Year's Eve party in Bristol and they were fantastic! Incredible playing from everyone involved and Bea has a beautiful voice!

It was a pleasure to have Alex and his band play at our wedding. We’ve been following the group for a number of years and they brought all their energy to our weekend. On the Friday night they played jazz, while on Saturday they upped the tempo to funk, which quickly filled the dancefloor. A talented group! They went out of their way to fit into our arrangements and did everything with a smile. A delight!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes! Bea is our vocalist and founding member and you will be in touch with her throughout the booking process!

Do you have different line-up options?

We do! Piper Jazz Collective is able to provide options from duo to quintet depending on the occasion!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'm afraid not. We are exclusively a live band with amplification only appropriate for our performance.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 hours before the performance time!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are more than happy to discuss song requests prior to the event! If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it.
