Penny has trained in both classical and folk music since the age of 6, being brought up immersed in the folk tradition. She is an alumna of Northamptonshire County Youth Orchestra, having played with them for four years while still at school. She has a grade 8 violin and singing qualifications, along with grade 6 piano and grade 5 music theory. Penny currently plays in two ceilidh bands as well as a popular music covers band, and is a member of three university orchestras. She is experienced as a personal music tutor in both classical and folk music as well as depping for musical productions and theatre shows, and would love to play for you event, whether you need a fiddle player to play traditional tunes, a violin or viola to join the ranks of a pit band or a solo violin recital.
