Penny Kempson

Penny specialises in solo violin, offering classical, folk, bollywood or pop covers. She creates individual arrangements of songs to suit the sound of the solo violin and is a popular choice for wedding receptions, events or bridal entrances. Penny has trained in both classical and folk music since the age of 6, being brought up immersed in the folk tradition. She has a grade 8 violin and singing qualifications, along with grade 6 piano and grade 5 music theory. Penny currently plays in two ceilidh bands. She is experienced as a personal music tutor in both classical and folk music as well as depping for musical productions and theatre shows, and would love to play for you event, whether you need a fiddle player to play traditional tunes, a violin or viola to join the ranks of a pit band or a solo violin recital.
