We're an organ trio bringing to life the sound of 60's Soul Jazz and groove. We're all busy professional players and can tailor the set to lean more towards the soul funk side of the set, or more jazz as required. The Organ is the centre of the band naturally. On the Hammond organ we're lucky enough to have Bob Birch who's performed with many famous musicians but most notable locally for his work with New Mastersounds.

The band have played at the bar on several occasions now. They're highly professional in their manner and playing. I've booked them back for a number of dates later in the year , both at The Meandering Bear and The Grayston Unity in Halifax. I couldn't recommend more ! Excellent.

The Organ trio played at our club in January. They are as at home with playing jazz standards as they are jazz-funk and soul. Everyone had great night and we've booked them again for the autumn.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

There's not usually a singer in this band.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes. We can easily add a singer or horns.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We'll always try to be flexible as long as we're free and it doesn't change the amount of time we are expected to be at the venue

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course. If you want us to put on music between sets that would be no problem.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can set up in about 30 mins but normally like an hour.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, of course. You're also welcome to make a few requests - we learn things very quickly.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We wouldn't normally expect to use a PA with our set up. In the unlikely event that the room was so big that it required a PA that would be extra - but we're a bad without a singer or horn section I can't see that would ever come up.
