The sheer beauty of the harp played with tremendous virtuosity by Maxine Molin-Rose bringing us engrossing classics and producing sounds like multi – instrumentalist arrangements. The high temperatures played havoc with the carefully tuned strings, but Maxine overcame this as a true professional would and delivered a performance to melt our hearts.

We just wanted to thank you for playing at our wedding at Rufford.on.Friday. it was beautiful and all our guests commented on how lovely it was.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

When I'm performing my priority is to play music you and your guest will enjoy listening to. The music i play creates a magical and romantic atmosphere which guest never forget and my stunning black and gold Harp is always a focal point which adds to the ambience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I play at lots of different venues all over the country. This also includes Theatres and concert halls such as Birmingham Symphony hall, Manchester's Bridgewater hall. My work from when i toured with Ballet companies took me all over the country playing at many different theatres. I think I've played at pretty much most of the Theatres in the UK!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I play many different genre's of music ranging from classical, popular through to Bollywood. I often get asked what my favourite piece/composer is and i actually don't have one as like so many!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Has to be with Kanye West on stage at Birmingham NEC and Manchester Arena. It was certainly like no other gig i have experienced! Other artist i have performed with include Russell Watson and also once played for the British Grand Prix Ball.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm happy to accommodate amended timings as long as i don't have any other bookings straight after your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

I normally arrive 1 hour to 45 mins before the start time. It's useful to know in advance where you would like me to set up. I would suggest a 6ft x 6ft space is more than sufficient.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Yes it is plus any other equipment such as an amplifier. The harp is also moveable between areas. If there are any steps please let me know as assistance will be required. The harp is a heavy instrument so it needs at least 2 people to carry up steps.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

If it is very sunny i normally request a shaded area to perform. For a larger scale event it's useful to have access to power for amplification.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely yes. I also offer an online consultation should you wish to listen to some music plus it's a great way to meet me before the day.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I'm happy to source any music which isn't on my playlist. Sometimes you can't always get the music notation though. If this is the case then I'll suggest alternatives.
