Jen Douglas

Jen is a violinist and electric violinist based in London and the South East. Jen has a wealth of experience performing in theatre, weddings, luxury events and corporate events in and around the UK and all over the world. Her works has taken her from Canada, The Caribbean, the Middle East, Europe and as far as Australia and Tasmania! Along with her international work, Jen has worked extensively in Musical Theatre, touring all No.1 UK Theatres and working in the West End in shows such as Sister Act, Fiddler On The Roof, The Wizard of Oz, Chess and Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat to name a few. Along with her solo work, Jen plays with London’s top ceilidh band specialising in Scottish and Irish folk music and also plays with the UK’s first string quartet with beatboxer performing all the latest chart hits. Wether you are looking for an intimate classical ceremony, an upbeat pop set for a drinks reception or setting the perfect background atmosphere as guests are mingling, Jen will tailor her music to add that bespoke touch to your event. No query is too small, please do ask. For weddings, Jen usually provides music for the ceremony, drinks reception and/or the wedding breakfast. Jen has been influenced by all styles of music and can perform everything from classical, pop, r&b, folk, musical theatre and jazz. Jen can provide her own compact PA system to play backing tracks through and it can also amplify the violin for larger spaces. You can choose from acoustic and electric violin or a mixture of both for your event.
