Hey there! I've played the violin in three short films during my university years, including the 4 time award winning, British short film thriller 'Dead Cool' by Simon Ross. I studied music with violin and composition disciplines at Kingston university and graduated with a 2:1. I have just finished my first year of a two year masters at Royal Holloway, studying performance (in violin) and composition. I have known Jacob all his life, and as a musician and composer myself I've been delighted to see the blossoming of his musical abilities. I've always been struck by how much emotional depth goes into Jacob's music making, playing and composing. The challenges of his life are channeled through his music. He's an instinctive and intuitive musician who plays and writes with his heart rather than just his head. His skill and expression have always left quite an impression on me

Jacob performed at a charity concert I organised. He arrived early to help set up and to have a thorough soundcheck, and was professional throughout the entire event. He was friendly and engaging with audience members and had taken the time to research the charity; this extra effort was much appreciated. He performed beautifully, playing challenging pieces with a confident ease. I will definitely choose to work with him again.
