Hornology

We are Hornology, a brass band formed in Manchester by 5 great mates. We all love to perform together and all graduated from the RNCM in Manchester together. We are made up of sax, trumpet, trombone, sousaphone, drums and an additional singer if wanted! Since forming the band, we have had a few gigs around Manchester, most notably Freight Island where we played for the sin nations showings there, and we hope to continue playing there as a roaming band regualarly in summer. We are able to roam around at an event and play on the move, or also stand still like a normal wedding band, teaming up with our singer Grete, to form a 6 piece band, full of character! Stylistically, we are flexible, and have lots fo orginal arrangemnts of popular songs, including medleys od RnB, Stevie Wonder, 90s bangers and Club anthems. Whatever it is you would prefer at your event, we can fit the vibe. Also happy to play a more striped down jazz set whilst roaming or stood still. We have our own PA and sound system, and so are ready for any situation we might be needed in!
