What do your clients love most about your performances?
They love the style of music I perform. I am originally classically trained vocally, and so I have a 3 octave range, with a strong belting voice when needed. This allows me to perform songs from all sorts of genres, making my repertoire truly eclectic.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have performed at Woodborough Hall, Colwick Hall, Cockliffe Country House and Brooksby Hall to name a few. I play in pubs all over Nottingham Derby and Leicester too.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I am influenced by what my parents listened to when I was growing up. The true guitar sounds of Dire Straits, Eric Clapton and Joni Mitchell. I love an intricate guitar melody mixed with a strong emotive vocal, like Kaleb from the King's of Leon. I gravitate more toward the rockier/Indy styles when I listening to music.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
It depends what you mean by high profile. Weddings are where my heart lies. Knowing my music has added to a couples most special day is a feeling like no other.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs smoothly. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know, as soon as you know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I can play a set list of music through my PA system if need be.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually aim to be at the venue setting up about an hour before the start of the performance time.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Certainly! I am more than happy to tailor any set to suit your preferences.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, 100%. I bring everything I need to amplify my sound appropriately for the venue.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If a song you'd like isn't listed in my repertoire I will look to learn this for you. I will need a minimum of 3 months notice of this prior to your event. With my Gold wedding package I offer to learn up to 4 new songs.
