Freddie's a versatile musician open to solo chamber and orchestral work in and around London and Manchester. She began playing the violin at 6 and in December 2015 she achieved a Distinction in her DipABRSM violin diploma. Freddie was a member of the National Children's Orchestra's first violin section for 3 years and leading the orchestra in various concerts. She then was a member of the National Youth Orchestra for 3 years and was co-principal second violin for a course in her final year. She has toured with the orchestra under conductors like Sir Mark Elder, John Wilson and Sir George Benjamin along with having 3 appearances at the BBC Proms. Freddie is an active member of school music from leading the school orchestra to numerous solo engagements, from playing for HRH Princess Anne at St James Palace to touring and recording in New York, Venice and Slovenia with the Chapel Choir. Along with this, she played the violin for Dave Bednall's Stabat Mater for Violin, Organ and Choir in Kings College Cambridge. Freddie has lots of performance experience, from Mozart D Major, Bruch and Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with Cranbrook Symphony Orchestra to birthday party and wedding events, both solo and chamber and now plays an active role in the University of Manchester's music department.
