Our company was started when I realised that almost every wedding DJ out there was the same, typical cheesy, cliche. We are a team of 4 experienced DJs with rustic DJ booths and high end equipment. We believe in giving every client a bespoke service, with music that fits their wedding or party. There are no standard playlists, no cliche talking over the music moments ("this one from ABBA in 1974!!"). We bring a cool and modern vibe to your party and we do it in a professional, and stylish way. We were absolutely thrilled that we booked Gary for our wedding!! Right from the first contact, he was friendly, reliable and made a lot of effort to work out exactly what we wanted. As with most weddings our guests were a wide range of ages, with very varied music tastes. We were able to make lots of requests and say where we wanted music positioned throughout the night. Gary then carefully tailored a brilliant set list which he adapted on the night, reading the room very well... and the result was a packed dancefloor and very happy guests!! We recieved loads of compliments about how great the DJ and music was! Gary also played our spotify playlists during the drinks reception and meal, provided the microphones during the speeches and did a lot of coordination with the photographer and caterer to ensure the day stuck to time (which was definitely not in his job description but very much appreciated!). We also hired his photo booth which was an absolute hit with our guests. I would not hesitate to recommend Gary for any type of event!

Throughout our entire process, Gary at Fizz and Groove was incredible and we definitely made the right choice when choosing a DJ for our wedding. He was always quick to respond to our questions and provided insightful suggestions when we were planning our special day. On the day itself, Gary took care of everything from the music to announcing us in as a married couple in a seamless manner. He listened to our music suggestions/requests and ensured they were all included as the night went on slotting them in alongside his own choices, keeping everyone happy and the atmosphere lively in the process! We couldn't recommend Gary more, he was absolutely wonderful to have take care of the music on our wedding day!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We do weddings and big corporate events -I have done a few celebrity events, but there is no point showing off about them here. Every client gets the same service, celebrity or normal person. This is why I have 30+ 5 star reviews on google, and the lowest review I have ever had is 5 star.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

“We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.” 99.999% of the time this isn't a problem, as long as the length of the booking doesnt change. If the length changes there might be a small charge to cover.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes - as part of our full day service add on, we can provide the music for meals etc, before we start DJing

How much time do you need to set up?

45 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes - we have our own online playlist system which you can create a playlist of MUST PLAYs and DO NOT PLAYs

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am a DJ. I do not play instruments.
