Bryony was amazing!! Our wedding was at The Old Marylebone Town Hall and her music made the room all the more beautiful. She was extremely helpful in choosing the pieces and made organising this part of our wedding so easy. Thank you so much!!

We found the Fendt Ensemble through my dad who knows a few musicians in the Salisbury area and provided us with Bryony’s contact details. From the outset, Bryony was so friendly and professional and she was open to having a few discussions about how the day was going to go, and our ideas for pieces for the string quartet to play. She was also able to suggest some pieces to us for various parts of the ceremony to make sure we conveyed the right tone and it was great to have her professional input as we don’t have a very good knowledge of classical music ourselves. We chose to have a string quartet play during our wedding because we weren’t getting married in a church, but did want to create a refined and formal atmosphere for the service, which also reflected the fact it was a joyful occasion at the appropriate moments, as well as having some musical accompaniment to the hymns. We asked the Fendt Ensemble to play some lovely classical pieces for 15 minutes or so before the ceremony started as guests took their seats so they could enjoy the music, and then play the processional and recessional music as well as a couple of pieces during the signing of the register, so they were a really integral part of our ceremony. They did all of this absolutely beautifully, creating a really rich sound and timing everything just right, so that they were perfectly in pace with the guests as they sang the hymns and wrapped up the pieces they were playing for the other parts of the ceremony at the right moment. It was an absolute pleasure to listen to them playing and it really added a weight and ambience to the ceremony that you just can’t get from switching a recording on and off - nowhere close! It made it feel all the more special. Once the ceremony was over we all had some canapés out on the patio and the Fendt Ensemble set up there to play a few more beautiful pieces of classical music and some fun versions of more modern themes - my brother in law is a big Zelda fan so we asked for the Zelda theme to be played as well as the Game of Thrones one. This again created a lovely atmosphere and I’m so glad we asked them to stay on for this part. We enjoyed hearing all the interpretations of well known tunes played by the quartet - everything they play sounds so beautiful. In summary, I was impressed by the Fendt Ensemble’s professionalism and technical execution of the pieces played - many of which required real expertise to play so beautifully - as well as the experience and understanding they brought to all of this. They knew exactly what we wanted and it was so easy to work with Bryony leading up to the day. When you are busy arranging so many things for a wedding this is very much appreciated! Their contribution formed an important part of the ceremony and helped to make the day special, so I’m really grateful to them for that. It was an absolute pleasure to hear them playing and if you get the chance to do so, at a wedding or otherwise, I would highly recommend this"

"Bryony played cello for our church wedding ceremony in July. She performed a range of pieces from Bach to Beyoncé, which were all amazing. She helped so much with choosing our music and even arranged particular songs we wanted, which were so fun and sounded beautiful. It all created a really special atmosphere and suited the whole feel of the wedding perfectly. It was exactly what we wanted and we would highly recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much Bryony!"
