About Emma

I would love to play at your event. As an experienced classical & folk performer I’m happy to tailor my repertoire to make your day unique.
Violinist

Public liability insurance of £10 million

Hello, I’d love to play at your event and am always happy to discuss ways to tailor the music to suit your requirements in order to make your day unique. I'm a classically trained violinist, pianist and clarinettist. I’m also an experienced folk fiddler. I have a wide range of experience playing as a solo violinist and pianist at wedding ceremonies, parties, receptions and social events in the U.K. and abroad. I also gig regularly with a flautist. We specialise in both classical music and Irish tunes. I am passionate about music and currently teach. I am also a regular accompanist. In addition to the classical side, I'm also an experienced folk fiddler. For the past 6 years I've played with an Irish function band, gigging across London and the South East. I'm also a confient mandolin and tenor banjo player. I regularly gig as a fiddler for ceilidhs. I’d love to play at your event and to tailor the experience to your special day.

Emma played at our wedding ceremony and was fantastic. She played our favourite songs beautifully which made such a difference to our day and lead to a few years of joy being shed. We couldn't recommend her enough.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

I can play solo violin/piano or can also provide a self- recorded piano backing track, which I can play along to. I also regularly gig with a flautist - we have a full classical and Irish repertoire.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event, just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes is ideal, although I can set up more quickly if necessary for a wedding ceremony (for example at a registry office).

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I’m always happy to chat before your event, if you have specific ideas about which music would make your day unique.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I can play acoustically or plugged in. I have my own portable electric piano and amp. The amp also has the capacity to play background music during short breaks.
