Darcey Hope recently graduated from BIMM Brighton with a 1st class degree in Songwriting and was immediately invited to play two solo sets at Glastonbury 2023, for which she received two mentions from Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2. The following week, her new self-penned single ’Maybe Tomorrow’ reached number 5 in the iTunes singer/songwriter charts and was chosen as track of the week on BBC Introducing Berkshire. It was also played on Absolute Radio and entered the mainstream charts at number 90. All this for an independent, young female artist! Darcey Hope is a prolific songwriter, whose honest and deeply personal music deals with such relatable universal themes. She has an innate ability to reach out and speak to her listeners. Her style is a beautiful, proud blend of indie pop and country influences, making her fresh and exciting in the current market. There is an assured calmness to her stunning vocal tone and high production values in her songs. In a live setting, Darcey Hope is a confident and fun performer, who creates an instant rapport with her audience. In recent months, Darcey Hope has also performed at 2000 Trees Festival and a headline show in Finsbury, London.
