DJ Ben Hesketh

I began DJing in 2008, at the age of 15 performing at private parties, events and weddings, I’d pick up The occasional gig through a local booking agent and eventually became resident Dj at my local cricket club up until Going to university in 2011 to study Interactive Music and Studio Production. After graduating and with wanting to pursue djing in clubs and bars I took a DJ techniques diploma to learn the art form of mixing and creating my own edits to use within Dj sets. This lead to me spending a few years working in clubs and bars both all across the uk and internationally, holding residencies at Tiger Tiger Leeds & Manchester as well as Rockefeller’s Llotett De Mar. In 2021 after Covid I made the move back into weddings and private events and have worked with award winning suppliers such as Maximum Music and Exceed Events regularly earning 5* reviews. I believe music is about creating moments and memories, and i always tailor each playlist to the event, I'm just as comfortable playing with a sax and percussionist as I am providing background music to a christening or 70th birthday party and I fully believe in putting my clients expectations first, the last thing you want at your private event is an ego instead of a great time.
