we booked CJ Allstars for our annual fireworks night and they performed in our cricket club pavilion for a couple of hours after the fireworks. they were clearly talented musicians and the lead singer in particular had real presence. was very nice they went to the trouble of throwing in a def Leppard song which they learnt at the request of one of our organisers.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard line-up is vocals, keys, bass and drums, though we also frequently perform with sax and/or guitar. We're very happy to discuss options with you to best suit your space, taste and budget. With a bit of notice we can provide for most requirements.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let us know as soon as you can and we can usually accommodate timing changes within reason (though longer times may incur an extra charge as outlined in our standard prices).

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we can provide this for an additional charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes. Or if you indicate which decade(s) are to your taste we will feature that music specifically. We're very happy to discuss things with you in advance to ensure that you get what you're looking for - or you can just leave it to us!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes. All we need is mains power.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We're often asked to play a particular song or artiste - and we've never failed yet!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Nikita's fabulous voice. The variety of songs we play and the good-time atmosphere we create.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Everything from village halls to big outdoor stages.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Just about everyone who has made or continues to make good music.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

As a band, we're still working on that one! But individually we've played numerous theatre events and festivals around the country, and have supported the likes of Dr Feelgood, Billy Connolly and The Flying Pickets!
