Woodshed Collective

Manchested-based Woodshed Collective is unified by a shared passion for performing and composing jazz in it's many forms. The band takes it's inspiration from traditional artists such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and Cannonball Adderley, aiming to develop their own sound based off the trademark sounds of these artists. The band also thoroughly enjoy listening to and playing music from popular RNB legends Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and many others. The collective consists of Olli Bonada on the piano, whom is an experienced pianist with over 10 years of playing and writing experience and a classically trained background, seasoned saxophonist David Sotunde who has played in venues such as Band On The Wall and Blues Kitchen, experienced bassist Darren Randle who has played at venues up and down the country, as well as Luke Komlosy, who is a Royal Northern student with accumen working with a variety of acts from pop to country. The band is open to bringing our sound to all function events, jazz gigs and everything in between. We are highly flexible and willing to accomodate what is asked of us based on the client's needs.
