We Create & Re Create, Traditional Reggae, Ska, & Classics, original interpretations & more. Gradually becoming one of the favourite Duos in & around the London High Street Club, Restaurant & Private Party scene. We make it our mission to entertain the room & deliver a performance that will leave everyone with a sense of being part of the occasion. Asides from bringing Classic Reggae, Ska & Soca to the dance floor our trade mark has become the Caribbean dance moves our frontman Evans Renee who coaches the audience with easy to learn dance steps on the spot. Even the shyest party goer will drop their inhibitions & join in. Some of you maybe familiar with the Conga Line, just one of the many dances you’ll get to do on our shows. To see a room of people getting down & shaking a leg or two to these great songs, is really something to remember. With Vibez Groovers you get pretty much what any High Quality Reggae/Caribbean band will produce at a wedding/party or functions event. The difference with the VGz Duo is, the dancing & audience participation. That’s something we bring to every party & is unique to our brand of performance. For both myself as a Bassist trained on Electric & Upright Basses, with many years on the circuit performing as a sideman with a variety of artists, some of whom have experienced major success in the UK & internationally, I bring a set of authentic skills to the band stand in the Bass & Groove department. Likewise our Vocalist frontman who also covers the harmonic department as a cultured & Skilled Guitarist, insures the finest interpretations of songs you know & love. Growing up in the Caribbean, he breaths this music & with that comes an unquestionable level of originality, within the Reggae & Ska song book. As a duo we pack a big punch musically speaking. The dance moves we teach during the shows in a friendly & informal manner, make us a band you can listen to & join in with making every party a fun occasion, for both young & old. With Vibez Groovers, you’ll get a band who can take you on a musical & foot stomping, leg shaking memorable journey through the Reggae music archives, stopping off on the way to experience some Classic Motown, Pop Funk & anything else we feel would be needed to give you & your audience a memorable good time. We perform as a Duo which is our original format. For some events we expand to a Trio, Four piece or Five piece group, depending on your budget.
