What do your clients love most about your performances?
We're serious about our performance and putting on the best show for our audience - but we also try not to take ourselves too seriously. We want everyone to have a good time - ourselves included!
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Pubs, clubs and bars across London & The Home Counties, as well as local festivals and charity events.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Anything and everything from Foo Fighters to Britney Spears to The Beatles and Tina Turner!
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
A local beer festival to a crowd of approx 250 people - it was fantastic fun!
Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
Yes - our two lead vocalists (Guy & Ollie) are at the core of the band and will always be at every gig. We tailor our setlists around our distinct vocal ranges, so without them, we wouldn't be The Scamps!
Do you have different line-up options?
We are a 4-piece band, made up of two lead vocalists, two guitarists, bass and drums. We are very happy to scale this down for more acoustic performances if desired.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We're always flexible with our bookings, and it's rarely a problem with us if timings need to change after booking.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Absolutely. This is a very common request and we're happy to do so for free. We can play a Spotify playlist of your choosing or DJ ourselves through our PA System.
How much time do you need to set up?
Ideally 1-2 hours to setup and sound check, we're happy to do this before the event starts if possible. We can always setup the PA system first to play music through whilst we setup the rest of the gear.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Yes, if there's a particular song(s) from our setlist that you'd like to hear please let us know and we can factor them into our set on the night.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3x2 meters to perform
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in our setlist there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you.
