The swing zippers have been playing at our venue for several years now. We just love their vast range of different instrumental tunes and they are super talented guys!!!! We often receive lots of very positive feedback from our customers whenever they play here. Definitely one our favourite acts here at the Pelican club and we'll be sure to continue booking them for many more nights to come.

The swing zippers played at our restaurant and they were excellent - very well prepared, the music was fabulous and they looked great! Everyone commented on how good they were. Very pleased we booked them and it really helped the grill party go very well.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

The group is made up of two guitarists. We also offer the trio option which includes the double bass. If you would like to hear a saxophone or trumpet then we can also perform as a trio including one of these instruments.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to remain as flexible as possible. It is very important to notify us of any changes as soon as possible!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If a client requests that we provide background music for the intervals then this is absolutely fine.

How much time do you need to set up?

Our average setup time is 20 minutes. If we need to provide a full PA system for a larger venue then we will need 40 minutes.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We've never been asked to roam during a performance but we are fully equipped to do so.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We've tailored our setlist to suit a wide range of musical tastes through countless performances and gauging what people like. We are happy to perform specific songs in any given order.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We provide all of the necessary equipment to deliver our performances to the highest standard. More often than not we only bring a very compact setup due to the low volume level requirements. We can provide a full PA system if needed! 4 meters by 4 meters.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we have done this many times for various clients! If you're looking for over 5 song requests then the fee will need to justify the time taken out to learn the new material.
