Libby & Raddon

Trained in music at the University of Manchester, Libby (violin) and Raddon (accordion, piano and voice) are two young musicians who started performing together in 2020. They have both received the Proctor-Gregg Prize for Performance during their studies, performed as concerto soloists and, between them, have played at the Aldeburgh Festival, in the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and at the Aurora Music Festival across Sweden. They began busking folk music at the end of the COVID-lockdown and have since made this a key part of their repertoire. Alongside, they have a broad range of concert repertoire, including classical pieces for violin and piano (as well as their own arrangements of other works), old and new jazz and popular songs from the shows. In short, something for everyone! The duo have a minimal set up and so are able to bring their music to a wide range of people and settings. Previous experience includes playing for the London-based children's charity Music House for Children's 'Little Birdsong Concerts', for outdoor parties, weddings, private concerts, and on the street when the sun's shining.
