iOZN CELLo

iOZN CELLo is a contemporary cello project created by Italian cellist Francesco Saverio Gliozzi. The project explores the cello as a space of transformation, where memory, atmosphere and musical storytelling come together to create immersive sound experiences. Through original compositions and reinterpretations of iconic pieces, the cello becomes a bridge between past and present. Familiar melodies are reshaped, suspended and transformed into new soundscapes where minimalism, cinematic tension and lyrical expression coexist. The result is a musical experience that is both elegant and emotionally engaging, suitable for refined events as well as artistic performances. Francesco Saverio Gliozzi has developed his career across different musical worlds, from theatre productions and live performances to collaborations with internationally recognised artists. During his career he has worked with musicians such as Bruce Sudano (Donna Summer), Fiorella Mannoia and Renato Zero, while also taking part in numerous projects in the fields of songwriting, theatre and recording productions. These experiences have shaped a musical language that combines classical training with a contemporary and cinematic approach to the instrument. iOZN CELLo can be presented as a solo cello performance or as a flexible string ensemble including duo, trio or string quartet. This versatility allows the project to adapt naturally to different contexts such as weddings, corporate events, cultural performances and exclusive private events. The repertoire can range from original compositions to refined reinterpretations of classical repertoire, cinematic soundtracks and pop or rock pieces reimagined for strings. This balance between recognisable music and artistic reinterpretation creates an elegant atmosphere that fits perfectly with sophisticated events and unique locations.
