He’s spent five years as resident pianist at a restaurant in York, performing two nights a week, providing the perfect atmosphere and ambience for diners. I had the pleasure of working whilst this lovely man performed, and it was an experience I won’t forget. His talent on the piano is incredible. Beyond his musical skills, he is genuinely kind, humble, and easy to work with. Whether he was performing a classical tune or a special request from us staff (no song was out of the question for fun), he really helped raise the atmosphere. I 100% recommend Dave to anyone looking for a truly skilled pianist and an all-around wonderful person.

All prices include:1. A carefully chosen selection of music to match your occasion (including your choice from Dave’s Song List of approximately 200 popular pieces) 2. Up to three additional songs which Dave will learn for you (these can be almost anything - but please give at least four weeks notice) 3. Travel within a 50 mile radius 4. A phone or video call to discuss your requirements and suggest ideas 5. Public liability insurance of up to £1 million 6. If your venue doesn’t have a piano, Dave will bring a high quality digital piano with its own speakers

Wedding ceremony1 hour

This includes up to half an hour of music as guests arrive, plus your choice of music during the ceremony (aisle walk, signing register, etc) and music as guests depart. Also includes everything listed under 1-6 above.

Up to two hours of music during your drinks reception (with a 15-minute break in the middle). Also includes everything listed under 1-6 above.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ben Folds, Ludovico Einaudi and Elton John. Three vastly different styles but all incredible pianists and writers.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Time changes are not usually a problem. Just let me know as soon as possible. If your date changes then of course I may be booked elsewhere - get in touch ASAP and I’ll do whatever I can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No. But I can play for long periods including while people are arriving/leaving/eating/drinking/etc.

How much time do you need to set up?

About 30 minutes. There’s no charge for setup time.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Of course! As long as it’s in good condition and in tune.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely - feel free to choose your favourites from my Song List, if you wish. I will also usually add some of my own choices to fit the occasion.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes! All it needs is somewhere to be plugged in.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! If a song isn’t included in my Song List, just get in touch and ask (at least 4 weeks in advance of the event). I might already know it. If not, I can usually learn it for you.
