Dan Burnett is a world-class singer and multi-instrumental musician. As well as playing gigs and events, Dan is also a piano tutor, choir leader, and library music composer for film and TV. He has co-written and recorded music which featured on ‘Stolen’ (Nicolas Cage), and ‘Supernatural’ (USA TV series), among many others. Notable events include: 2020 Released 'Live (and then some)' EP, along with building a regular audience for 'Live Stream Sundays', a weekly streamed 'virtual gig' to keep live music going through lockdown. 2019 Released 'Flying Solo' album which received international airplay and reviews, and was featured in national publications. 2018 Tracks from ‘Small World EP’ included in Caffe Nero’s international playlist. Became an official Spotify and Shazam artist. Showcased nationally on BBC Radio’s ‘Georgey Tonight’ in January 2018 as ‘Artist of the week’, with the show reaching over 1.2m listeners. Featured in national news publications, and on various radio shows with airplay and live interviews. 2017 Recorded and released ‘Small World EP’, which received international acclaim and airplay, and reached #5 in the 2017 UK *IBBA charts – only 6 weeks after release. The EP was also the *IBBA’s second most played recording in December, across the network of over 60 radio shows. *Independent Blues Broadcasters Association. Reviewed in Blues In Britain magazine (live gig review / Small World EP – November). Performed at The Great British R&B Festival, Colne (Lancs) solo, and with Clay Shelburn (USA). 2016 Worked alongside Roland Europe and featured in a video for the release of their new piano products in ‘The Future. Redefined’ global event. Nominated in the 2016 British Blues Awards (‘Keyboard player of the year’). 2015 Launched ‘E.P.’ with a solo tour in New York City. Kawai Pianos USA provided stage piano and equipment for the trip. ‘E.P.’ was featured on BBC Radio 2’s ‘The Blues Show with Paul Jones’. Solo tour of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. Nominated in the 2015 British Blues Awards (‘Keyboard player of the year’).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm happy to be flexible with timings, to help your event run smoothly, and often make up time by cutting down breaks.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide an iPod connection at no extra charge, and can recommend an excellent external DJ (at extra cost).

How much time do you need to set up?

For a solo performance I can be set up and ready in 20 minutes, however this does depend on the distance from my vehicle to the room where I'll be performing, and access to the cleared space.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You're welcome to choose any particular favourites from my list, however the sets I choose for each occasion are based on many gigs, and learning what works best with audiences at similar events.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes - I have all the necessary equipment.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

It's possible to learn a song for a special event / first dance (if I think I can do the song justice!), however due to rehearsal time this comes at an additional £50.
