Hi! We are the Camilli String Quartet, an award winning Essex based string group who perform at weddings and events across the UK. We have a wide and varied repertoire suited to any occasion, ranging from classical music to arrangements of pop, jazz and film selections. Our players are made up of experienced chamber and solo musicians trained at the UK and Europe's best conservatoires, and are guaranteed to add a touch of elegance and sparkle to your event. We can work with you to create the perfect programme for your event, and can even arrange your favourite piece of music or song to make your occasion unique. We also offer a Trio (Violin, Viola, Cello) or Duo (Violin, Cello) as suitable options for smaller events and spaces.

The Camilli Quartet were an absolute pleasure to work with, from the initial communication through to the day itself. The Church service itself was delayed by 30 minutes yet they continued to play throughout without complaining once and for that I am so incredibly grateful. I am sure I will be working with Camilli Quartet (and Encore of course!) on many more weddings to come.

I very much enjoyed the Camilli String Quartet. Those four young women will be stars. They really played beautifully, and such a wide range of lovely pieces too.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic job you all did yesterday. So sorry I didn't get a chance to thank you in person. Again thank you so much for making a special day extra special.

Do you have different line-up options?

We offer String Quartet - 2 Violins, Viola, Cello String Trio - Violin, Viola, Cello String Duo - Violin, Cello

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know as soon as you can.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually arrive 30-40 minutes before our performance time to set up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course! We can work with you to create a bespoke setlist for your event. We just ask for your final song decisions to be made 3-4 weeks before your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

We bring our own instruments, music stands and music to your event We ask that the venue/client provides: - Armless Chairs for each player - Adequate shade if performing outside - A space for us to store our cases.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes we can! If you can't find the song you like on our repertoire list, there may be a chance that we already know it. If not, we are able to create an arrangement for you for a small fee.
