What do your clients love most about your performances?

I have a genuine love for performing. This is obvious to anyone who has invited me to part of their big day. For me, it's all about helping couples create the wedding they've dreamed of and for their guests to be entertained.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've been performing at weddings for a decade now and in that time have performed at over 200 venues. Each venue has its own charm but some of my favourites are Comrie Croft, The Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, Broxmouth Courtyard, The Cowshed Crail, and Fasque House.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I've curated an odd playlist of artists over the years though some of the artists and bands I always come back to are Bombay Bicycle Club, David Gray, The 1975, and Snow Patrol The oldies-but-goldies are great fun to play on the piano but it's always interesting making solo piano arrangments of songs I've not heard before.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed with the self-proclaimed "Scottish ska godfathers" BombSkare at MacMoray Festival 2024 to over 12,000 people. I distinctly remember walking out onto the stage and thinking, "I can't see the back of the crowd". BombSkare gigs are always the absolute best kind of riotous and it was possibly the most fun I've ever had on stage!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This is a completely understandable occurrence. Let me know if your plans have changed after booking and we will find a solution.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually need just 30mins to set up my digital piano and speaker.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

I love the opportunity to play on a venue's piano. So long as it's in tune and good working order then I'm happy to use it. I will always bring along my equipment as a back-up to avoid any issues.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Please let me know if there are any songs in particular you'd like me to perform - or perhaps avoid. Though, I am very experienced at getting a sense of what is working well for your guests so you are in safe hands.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Absolutely! I have a Nord Stage 3 digital piano which is my pride and joy!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I always endeavour to help make your wedding as personal and memorable as possible. The choice of songs is such an important part so I am always happy to learn requests.
