Valeria Perboni: Valeria is an Italian singer, actress, and director with a BA in Opera Studies from the Conservatoire of Mantova, and an MA in Musical Theatre (DipRAM) from the Royal Academy of Music. She has performed internationally across stage and screen, collaborating with renowned conductors including Antonio Pappano, Sir Simon Rattle, and Gustavo Dudamel at prestigious venues such as the Barbican Centre, Royal Albert Hall, and Royal Opera House, as well as collaborations with the BBC and Channel 4. She also holds an MSc in Music Psychology and Neuroscience (Goldsmiths). Her operatic performances range of genres, focussing on the Italian repertoire from Bel Canto to contemporary works. Her musical theatre credits include Maria, West Side Story at the Barbican Centre, Amalia, She Loves Me at the Royal Academy of Music, and Melissa in the original in-concert production of Just Bee at The Other Palace. She has also performed leading roles in operettas including Lily and Bear at The Park Theatre and Gustav Holst's The Idea. A passionate advocate for multisensory performance and neurodiversity, Valeria presented her research on synaesthesia and participatory arts at Oxford University in 2024. Her love for opera is reflected in her published, award-winning thesis exploring opera during the Italian Risorgimento. Valeria is currently touring several programmes with the Jazz Acoustic Strings Ensemble of the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra and performing a solo show that uniquely blends jazz, musical theatre, art song, and opera in piano duo or with her own jazz trio. She continues her work as singer and director alongside coaching and teaching as an Italian Coach. Grigore Riciu: Grigore studied singing at the “Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts” Moldova. Worked as a Stage Director Assistant and Head of Opera Department, at the National Opera House in Moldova and sang operatic roles including Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Vaudemont in Iolanta, Alfredo in Die Fliedermaus, Gaston in Traviata, Casio in Othello, The Emperor in Turandot, Yamadori in Madame Butterfly, Don Curzio in The Marriage of Figaro. Sang concerts with the Club for Arts and Artists, Opera Kensington, Woolwich Opera Works, Rose Opera, LPMAM, London Philharmonic Choir. In June 2023 Grigore sang Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Brent Opera), in May 2024 Cavaradossi in Tosca (Rose Opera), in December 2024 Calaf in Turandot (LPMAM), in March 2025 Calaf in Turandot (Instant Opera), and in June 2025 Tamino in The Magic Flute (Opera Greenwich).
