We hired Vitula for our son’s wedding at Hazelwood Castle and were so, so pleased that we did! From the first contact nothing could have run smoother; Nick’s communication was fantastic. He is so friendly, professional and helpful and was happy to guide us through the process. The music was wonderful, they didn’t stop playing for 2 hours and each song was as fantastic as the last. The ceremony was in a small, intimate room so Nick suggested that 2 of them play for that, watching our lovely bride walk down the aisle to their beautiful music brought tears to many an eye. The quartet were back together for the champagne reception playing music that had been selected by the wedding guests. It really made the wedding very special for everyone. Vitula were truly magnificent when they played for our wedding, a genuine class act. They are such talented musicians and when they played 'Here comes the bride' as I walked down the aisle there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Thank you so much to Nick, Hannah, Sarah and Clare you made our day so special when we watch our wedding video back and hear you play we are transported right back to how we felt on our special day. Vitula String Quartet were absolutely brilliant at our wedding. They played during the ceremony and drinks reception and all of their music sounded beautiful - we requested quite a lot of modern songs and they all sounded amazing! What do your clients love most about your performances?

A lot of people see a String Quartet and expect Mozart or Bach to be playing, so it's always a thrill to see people reaction when we start playing music from their favourite Pop and Rock artists, it goes down a treat!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our main line up is String Quartet but we do offer a String Duo option which comprises of Violin and Violin or Two Violins.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We try our best to be flexible so give us a quick message on Encore and we'll check our availability with your new timings. We have several backup players for each section in case any of use are unavailable.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can usually be set up and ready to play withing 15 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, clients will often give us an idea of what sort of music they want and we'll create a set list using our experience of what works in certain events.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes we bring all our equipment, all we require from the venue are four armless chairs to be seated on.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, if there a song that's not on our set list, we'll arrange and perform it specially at your event. Arranging new music does take time, so we limit clients to two pieces to be arranged free of charge. After that we charge £15 per extra arranged piece.
