Hi. This is Rus, the bands manager who you spoke with before your booking. I’m glad you enjoyed the bands performance but I am, I would hope you understand, disappointed about the negative comments of your review. As you’ve expressed these comments publicly, I feel I need to address them. It was a pleasure providing the band to you, but aspects of your review are factually incorrect and I feel unjustified. Firstly, we have both photos and videos from your booking showing performers at several points venturing out from their performance space and playing among your guests and are happy to forward these to you. Secondly, there was no specific request for “roaming” on your booking. We do provide a “roaming band” service which can “walk around the venue” as you put it, but this is not what you booked. This would have required a completely different set of questions to be asked and different equipment to be used. We never guarantee roaming as part of our standard performances as there are too many factors outside of our control, from access too and from the performance area and the dance floor, health and safety matters, risk assessment requirements, PA / Sound requirements, how far away the guests are from the performance area and how interactive your guests are (no-one wants a trumpet blaring in their face when they are trying to have a conversation). It is common at summer weddings for the band to be more “background” earlier in the evening as people are still chatting and enjoying the sunshine, which was the case at your wedding. On our final pre-event calI, just days before, where we went through your booking info, despite no mention of roaming on the booking, I suggested to you that having looked at the venue online that some of our performers would be able to roam among your guests are points throughout the performance which is exactly what they did. We are very careful not to promise this and I certainly would not have said, “walk around the venue” for the reasons outlined above. The band arrived and set up in the corner where they were instructed to do so by the venue manager. This was behind a large planter and the DJ booth creating a barrier of sorts between your guests and the performers. Despite this the our performers ventured out from that space and performed among your guests at several points. I checked in with the band at the end of your event and the comment was “The event was seamless - high fives all round form the Groom and the Best Man”, so to then receive the negative comments on this review are surprising.
