“It is with great pleasure I write this testimonial for Tropicalia Latin Brazilian Show. In Q4 of 2012 we contacted various agencies for a Brazilian Band and dance troupe to perform in Doha, Qatar. After careful analysis we had chosen Tropicalia purely for their past credentials and testimonials. I personally found Leo, Co-founder of Tropicalia and the whole Production Team very easy to work with, creative, extremely helpful and always going out of the their way to further enhance the production. The event in Qatar was extremely unique, with Royal family as guests, ministers and other dignitaries, attending the evening programme, all for SDC 8th Charity Gala Dinner. Tropicalia was able to choreograph a specially produced dance to adhere to cultural sensitivities within the Middle East region, which I found outstanding and very accommodating. The finale of the evening composed of an 11 piece band and 16 person dance troupe to close the evening and bid our guests farewell. I would very much recommend Tropicalia as an entertainment highlight for any event.”

“With the 2016 Olympics being hosted by Brazil, Gravesham Borough Council contracted Tropicalia to perform their Latin Brazilian Show as a prelude to its live screen broadcasting the closing ceremony of London 2012. Over 1,500 people came to watch the show which was full of colour, music and dance. Leading up to the event contact was maintained through their management, who dealt with any issue (large or small) in an outstanding professional manner. We unlikely prepare a setlist as most of the time it has to be modified during the performance depending on the nature of the event, client’s requirements and reaction of the audience. Based on our experience we tempt to read the crowd and play what we feel would be the most suitable song to keep the floor packed. Rest assured that the performance will always feature a balanced mix of songs to please any audience regardless their age and/or nationality. 28 piece Show for the Qatari Royal Family in Doha

Do you have different line-up options?

“Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keys, Drums, and Percussions. We also have an 8/9 piece option that includes Sax, Trumpet, and Trombone.” We can also provide our fully choreographed and customed Carnival Dancers.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

“We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

“Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this iPod service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

“We usually set up about 1.5 to 2 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can you roam around while you perform?

No. The singer can roam and interact with e audience though.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

“Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. ”

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

“Our PA system is suitable for an audience of up to 150/200 people and is included in your quote. Upon request, we can hire a standard lighting rig at a discounted rate. POA
