I've been playing the Great Highland bagpipe for around 25 years now and have always been keen to get out and perform. I started in pipe bands, winning the World Championships in the lower grades in the early 2000s and later I became a member of the legendary grade 1 Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band. I have also played in a top-tier Breton Pipe Band called 'Bagad Quic En Groyne' and guested with countless other bands in between. As a soloist, I was a performer at the world's largest circus for a year over in China and have performed in the Middle East's largest viewed concert in history! I'm also a proficient Irish (uilleann) piper - if you're looking for a softer sound for your event! Most of my practice and learning time these days is in the Celtic genre where I love playing whistles and uilleann pipes. Check out my videos and audio clips to hear me play. We asked Tony if he could play at our wedding with less than a week to go and found Tony to be not only a brilliant piper but a brilliant guy as well! Nothing was too much trouble for him and he made our day an even more memorable one for being there. He piped our guests into the ceremony, piped the bride down the aisle, played while we signed the marriage schedule, played us out the ceremony and then piped us into dinner. A great day made all the more special by Tony. Thanks again Tony! Robert and Amanda
