Tom is a percussion and timpanist based in London, he has performed extensively in the UK with orchestras and ensembles in concert halls such as the Royal Albert hall, The Sage, Cadogan hall, Symphony hall and Glyndebourne. Tom is also a keen session musician having worked in studios such as Abbey Road, Maida Vale and AIR studios. most notably playing on the sound track of ‘Pride’ (2014), which went on to win ‘Best British Film’. He also played percussion at the world premier of ‘Dark Arteries’ with the Rambert Dance Company at Sadler Wells. Alongside performing, Tom also arranges and composes new works, with one of his compositions getting awarded ‘Highly Commended’ for the BBC Proms Young Composer of the Year Award, which got recorded and played on BBC Radio 3 by the Aroura Orchestra. Tom is currently studying percussion and timpani at the Trinity Laban conservatoire of music and dance, under the tuition of Mick Doran, Marney O’sullivan and Calum Huggan.
