Violinist, violin and secondary school music teacher based in Cuffley, Hertfordshire.
Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music (2019) and a Masters degree in Music Education at the University of York, specialising in private instrumental teaching (2020). I also completed my PGCE training specialising in Music from the University of Cambridge (2023).
I am enthusiastic about tailoring my teaching to my pupils' individual needs, as everyone learns differently. I also make sure that my lessons revolve around my pupils' musical interests, to ensure that they are thoroughly enjoying the process of learning to play the violin. Furthermore, I encourage pupils to make mistakes in their playing, and understand that mistakes need to be made, in order to improve. Everyone learns at different paces, and it is in my best interest to make sure that my pupils don't feel rushed but feel satisfied about their musical progress.
I have experience performing in a variety of ensembles from symphony and chamber orchestras to smaller early music, folk and contemporary music ensembles. I also enjoy singing soprano and alto in choirs, both in and outside of work.
