Thomas McBrien

Thomas McBrien is an award winning jazz pianist, accordionist and educator. He has toured throughout Europe and the UK and is resident in South East London. As a performing jazz pianist he regularly plays as first chair of the Orbi Playa Big Band that is based in Canterbury Kent while also working in smaller ensembles such as the swinging Cleo's Misadventures and the soulful Heritage McBrien Duo. As a session pianist he has been recording with the 'Big Smoke' ensemble based in North Wembley. As an accordionist and pianist Thomas plays in the Mason Dixon Brothers Band. A country and western ensemble based in lewisham. As a solo artist Thomas is currently working on an album of short piano and violin pieces set to be released July 2018 . As well as composing ambient jazz he also performs regularly as a solo pianist throughout the country at restaurants and weddings alike.
