Opera performer with a love of circus and theatre. Currently working on an opera scenes performance with Midland Opera, to be performed in February 2025. Recently performed in Wagner's Fliegender Hollaender with Persona Art, in July 2024.
I have a degree in Drama and Theater Arts and also perform Aerial Hoop. I love being able to combine different arts and to create new and interesting works. I love being able to bring characters to life through music, movement and physical theatre.
I really loved getting to perform with Oxbow at Supersonic festival - the combination of the contemporary choral music with Oxbow's avant-rock made such an impact, and I'd love to be involved in more projects like this.
I've been part of Rogueplay Theatre's Performance Team for a number of years, helping to devise and create touring aerial theatre pieces, some of which I created for music which I sung to accompany an aerial silks element of the show. Getting to devise and mix art styles together always fills me with excitement.
Character is really important to me in singing - bringing people into the world and acting throughout the piece. This is one of the things that drew me to opera during my Theatre degree. I'm always looking for new experiences as well as enjoying the more traditional elements of performing.
Recent roles include Aline in The Sorcerer and Ida in Die Fledermaus with Midland Opera Company, both performing in small unconventional spaces which gave their own challenges and new elements to adapt to.
