That's easy!!!. We are different. 
We have our own professionally composed versions of the popular songs that you all know.

Have you ever been to an event and thought the band are really good but they play the same old songs and arrangements as every other band we have seen?? That's where we are different. We will keep you on your toes ALL night!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Many venues across the South West including popular wedding venues (We love the carry in and out from Polhawn fort 😂).

Question 4

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Accepted Answer

As a rule we do not use dep members for gigs at booking stage. We only cover dates that we are all initially available for. In the event of a sickness from one of the band member and a dep used at last minute, you will be informed before the event.

Do you have different line-up options?

Accepted Answer

Due to our difficult arrangement and medleys we don't offer any extras regarding the band line up.

Question 6

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Accepted Answer

As long as we know 48 hours before the event date and it doesn't go past 11.59pm then that is not a problem at all. We are happy to play past 11.59pm but that may incur an extra charge.

Question 7

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we provide a virtual DJ service for when the band isn't playing, so there can be background or party music throughout the evening. If you want to choose a DJ playlist (maybe a themed evening, or your favourite tunes) just let us know, we can arrange that with you too.

How much time do you need to set up?

Accepted Answer

A comfortable set-up and sound check time is 2 hours, depending on the venue, its access and the event. Some events require more equipment, and as a result, the set-up time is extended. De-rig time is usually 1 hour, again depending on the venue. The band must be able to sound check before the start time to make sure the sound is perfect for our audience.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course if there is something on the list you specifically want to hear or if there is one you don't like, please let us know, we can make our set list bespoke to you.

Question 10

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Accepted Answer

A full PA system and lighting is included within the price. Also due to the size of the band and to ensure the quality of the sound for the audience we will always have a dedicated sound engineer who will control the levels of the band from around the room throughout the whole performance.

Question 11

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Accepted Answer

Due to the style of the UPP band, the complicated arrangements, medleys we have included within our performance, we are unable to take requests on the night. However if you have any specific songs you would like included, we will do our best to include some of them into our set. This would need to be discussed at the booking stage
