We are The Sam Lewis Band. A professional wedding & party band based in Hertfordshire in the South-East of England, UK. We offer excellent live music to cater for a whole host of weddings, parties and other occasions. Having performed alongside some of the music industry's greats such as Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Noel Gallagher and Ed Sheeran, our experience and party know-how is second to none! We've built our reputation over the last 10+ years by working closely with some wonderful wedding venues in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire including, The Priory in Little Wymondley, The Barns at Redcoats, South Farm, Sheene Mill, The Kings Chapel in Amersham, Milling Barn in Buntingford and Shortmead House in Biggleswade to name a few. We are one of Hertfordshire's busiest wedding and party bands and perform at 50-100 weddings per year. As the front-man, I can perform live (solo and acoustic) at the ceremony and reception drinks before bringing in my band for the evening AND DJing in between the live sets. My guarantee to you is that when you book The Sam Lewis Band, I (Sam Lewis) will always be the front-man for the band at your special occasion.

I can’t sing the praises of the Sam Lewis Wedding and Party Band enough! We hired Sam for our whole day and from coming down the aisle to the last song on the dance floor he and his band kept us and our guests entertained! Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Sam Lewis Band are trusted suppliers at the following venues: The Priory Barn The Barns at Redcoats The Kings Chapel South Farm Sheene Mill Milling Barn We have also performed at lots of other wedding and event venues, including The Hitchin Priory, Edworth Manor Barn, Knebworth House, Tewinbury Farm, Luton Hoo, Letchworth Hall, and many more!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

My guarantee to you is that when you book The Sam Lewis Band, I (Sam Lewis) will always be the frontman for the band on your special occasion. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable.

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a 3-piece rock/pop covers band consisting of guitar/vocals, bass/vocals & drums. If the band isn't for you or it's a little over budget, I can perform solo throughout the day, undertake toastmaster responsibilities and then DJ in the evening.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

All evening performances include a complimentary, professional disco to keep your guests entertained in between the live band sets. You're welcome to compile your own playlist on your iPod, iPad, iPhone or computer or simply make a few suggestions and leave it to the expert!

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes. We will work with you to build the perfect wedding party playlists for both the live and pre-recorded elements suitable for ALL of your guests. From children and grandparents who may wish to leave early, to the party people who stay until the end!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We carry all necessary A.V. equipment including P.A. System (subs and tops as and when required), radio microphones, lighting, DJ controller (DJ booth where required) and electric drums if the venue requires it. All equipment is P.A.T. certified and we carry £5M public liability insurance.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you.
