The 'Rulettes' are a 60s harmony band based in South Glos just north of Bristol and three of them (Dave, Phil and Tony) have been together now for well over 45 years, although not under the same name. For some of that time they were in a harmony pop group 'MacArthur Park' which in their original format performed live on the 'BBC Radio 1 Shows'. The final piece of the jigsaw was when Bill took over the drum department back in 1995 and whose claim to fame is being the drummer with West Country chart toppers 'The Wurzels' back in the 70's. The 'Rulettes' have performed at various functions and venues throughout these years but the ones they are most proud of is being asked to appear on 'BBC TV Children in need' and for the 'Loose Women' charity event which was held at 'The Point' in Manchester. Included in the bands set list is their tribute to the 'Beach Boys' with such iconic songs as the beautiful 'God only Knows' and yes 'Good Vibrations' plus many more of their hits.

Calne liberal club held a beach party on sat 20th sept and booked the rulettes for there live music band. The band arrived early and from the very beginning you could see they were very professional. throughout the night they performed classic hits of the 50s 60s and 70s with some very impressive medleys of the beatles, the stones, the monkees the shadows, roy orbison, cliff richard, there where that many that i can not remember them all .Then in the second half of there show they continued with their top quality deliverance of classic numbers around there fantastic tribute to the classic beach boys. This group are a fantastic tribute to the music of them eras. They are a must see must be heard band who are worth every penny of there fee if you need a band for your venue and need that style of music then you DEFINATELY NEED THE RULETTES THANKS GUYS FOR A FANTASTIC EVENING of nostalgic music and a superb professional show kind regards sam whitaker

There is only one way to describe this band - fantastic. We had my 50th birthday bash down at the Pentre Arms Hotel, Llangrannog, West Wales the other weekend, and I have never had so many people in the village coming up to me over the next few days to comment on the quality of the band, enjoyed by all age groups. We now hope to make it an annual event each August. Many thanks to Dave and the lads. Role on next year !!! Mike.

Do you have different line-up options?

No our line up is Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards & Drums. All 4 members sing & play, but the lead vocals swap around according to the particular song

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we can actually offer this service for free. We only have Prerecorded track lists. On request we can play trax from your mp3 or mobile.

How much time do you need to set up?

1.5 Hours with a sound check

Can you roam around while you perform?

Due to the vocal line up all our guys are always close to the mics and don't move around

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes within reason

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We have a compact 6K sound system and 4K stage lighting set up included in the quote Our preference is an area 3m x 4m, but we can squeeze down to smaller than this. Our drummer can use a Roland Pad which reduces the overall performance area

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Sorry no not at present, but can could play the request from our mp3
