Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Firstly, our clients always comment on the atmosphere which the band brings to their event. The type of music we play always brings extra cheer and energy to the occasion. I believe this is what they love the most about our performances.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have played at venues all across the country, mostly around London. These venues include bars, restaurants, gardens and barns. We have also performed gigs in London jazz clubs such at The Spice of Life and The Bulls Head.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Our main influences are the classic jazz trios of Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans. These trios specialised in classic jazz standards and made many of the quintessential jazz recordings which people now admire today.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
We have played a number of high profile functions over the last few years, and continue to look for more for the future.
Do you have different line-up options?
Yes, the band has the option of adding singers and horns as per your request!
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Whenever possible we are flexible with our timings. If there is a change to your schedule in the weeks leading up to your event we are always happy to shift if possible.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
For background music purposes we can provide iPod playlists on our devices which play between sets. If you let us know in advance what style you would like we can arrange that at no extra cost!
How much time do you need to set up?
We aim to set up 1 hour before any performance when possible. However there are times when your schedule may not allow that, in which case we are capable of setting up and being ready to play in 15 minutes.
Can you roam around while you perform?
As this band has a drummer, unfortunately we cannot roam while performing.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Yes! Our setlist comprises of songs which we have been performing for years, so any song picked from the list we can do. On top of that, if you have a song you would like us to do which isn't already on the setlist, just ask us in advance and in most cases we will be able to arrange it!
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, our quote includes all band expenses.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If you have a song which isn't in our setlist, but you would like it performed, just let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate this at no extra cost.
