Formed in early 2022, The Leaners are a tight-knit and slick 4 piece band, experienced in delivering performances to suit any event. As a group of professionally trained and talented musicians, The Leaners produce a consistent and smooth high-quality sound. Having played extensively across London each musician showcases a wealth of experience performing across venues including festivals, live radio shows and even boat-races. The Leaners bring professionalism and passion to every performance. With an eclectic mix of music styles, The Leaners stage a versatile and unique sound, with influences encompassing funk, reggae, rock and pop. This guarantees a set like no-other, highlighting the band's distinctive sound through a range of songs appealing to a large audience. The Leaners are also able to offer a diverse performances from acoustic duo sets, to a 5-piece band - including keys, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. As skilled musicians, The Leaners are able to adapt to your needs, from smooth cocktail reception music, to groovy and lively tunes to last the whole evening!

The band was absolutely fantastic, playing a key role in the success of our evening celebration. They not only suited our budget but brought an energy that got everyone up and dancing. Their professionalism showed in how quickly they set up their equipment, ensuring the evening flowed without interruption. Our guests praised them as "the best wedding band they had ever seen," and their performance of both wedding classics and pop favourites kept the dance floor alive. The Leaners, a soul and funk band consisting of Joe on bass, Jermaine on drums, Liam on guitar, and Erica as the lead vocalist, delivered an extraordinary performance at my restaurant. The crowd was enthralled by their incredible music and the vibrant atmosphere they created. Erica's captivating voice, combined with the band's tight-knit chemistry, brought soulful melodies to life, while Joe's groovy bass lines, Jermaine's dynamic drumming, and Liam's funky guitar riffs added depth and energy to their sound. We will certainly be having them back again!

Full evening package4 musicians

We will provide musical entertainment for a full evening's event. This includes: - 1 x 45 min acoustic set (singer + guitar or keys) perfect for cocktail hour, or during your meal - 2 x 45 min set full band (singer, guitar, bass, drums) - 2 hours of DJ-ing to end the night This package is highly customisable, and we would include an initial video call to talk through your needs. As this is a bespoke package, we are able to take more song requests and cater to exactly what you require.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients adore our band for our versatile song selection, high energy, and engagement. Our talented musicians bring professionalism to every performance. We customise shows and deliver memorable entertainment, leaving a lasting impact on all events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Stevie Wonder, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys are the main influences for the style of playing from our core 4 members. With such a range of genre, the band is able to display versatility in various musical styles.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

The core musicians who comprise The Leaners will always strive to play at your event. Whilst we rarely have to.call on them, we have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians who are able to stand in, in case of illness or any other emergencies.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: -Vocals -Guitar -Drums -Bass (we are able to add a 5th musician playing keys or saxophone) we also offer a two piece acoustic option: -Vocals -Guitar

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to accommodate your needs for the event. We do our best to retain flexibility (sometimes things change!), so please let us know!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We offer a playlist service, during setting up and setting down, as well as during breaks between sets. We are able to share this playlist with you once booked, and you're free to play it until the end of your event! We are also able to include a DJ service in our package at a discounted rate, to play until your venue closes

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up 1 hour - 45 mins before the performance time. Once we have our PA system up and running, we provide a playlist service to set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for the live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our setlists are specially curated from multiple performances, and are tailored to suit the tastes of our audiences and to ensure the best time possible! We would be happy to discuss any specific requirements, and also offer additional 3 free songs if you would like something that isn't already included in our repertoire!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All equipment is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 4 x 4 metres of space, but have certainly worked in some cramped conditions. If you have any specific concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Included in your quote are 3 complimentary songs which we can learn before your event. Any additional songs will be charged at a fee of £20 per song. We can't guarantee that we are able to take multiple requests on the day, but will do our best to accommodate!
