The LOL band

We are a live band, based in Surrey, that perform at all sorts of events, all over the UK. We love to perform at weddings, corporate events, private parties, birthday parties, awards ceremonies – you name it, if there’s dancing and good times needed, we are the band for you! The most important things to tell you about us is that we LOVE what we do. Seriously – there is no greater thing to make us smile other than us bouncing around at your party performing fun dance-floor filling tunes and seeing you all have a great time. We’ve been doing this for years and years and are all full time musicians. Other bits to mention are that we play a lot of modern day music (so lots of Bruno Mars, Gaga, Rhianna etc) as well as all the usual classics (James Brown, Aretha Franklyn, Beatles…anything remotely dance-worthy from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, and you better believe we play it!). We come as a small 3 piece lineup (female vocals, keyboards and guitar), or a 4 piece with drums, so we are perfect to suit most budgets and venue sizes, and we perform to a backing track which means we sound like a much larger band!   We have a huge amount of experience and have played at thousands of events over the past 10 years. We used to be known under another name ‘The Funkadelics’ but decided the ‘LOL Band’ is way more our style these days. We’ve performed all over the world (Dubai. Abu Dhabi, Egypt, all over Europe and lots more), and our corporate clients have included: John Lewis Halifax Lloyds TSB Prudential Sainsburies Yell AWE TNT Express RBS hundreds of military bases Scottish Life Bupa Lexus Nokia Npower Thames Water   We are super duper professional (we sadly don't live up to the rock’n roll musicians rumours in any way – there won’t be any TVs being thrown out of windows – we do however live off an addiction to coffee and M&S sandwiches most of the time!) We have a huge collection of musicians who play with us, and collectively we’ve worked with artistes like Jools Holland, Jameroquai, Amy Winehouse, Lemar, Liberty X, Lily Allen, Professor Green, Rudimental, Robbie Williams, Lulu and many more.
